Architect and program internationalized J2EE web applications for a major financial company using Java Struts-like application development framework.

  • Familiar with IBM Portal Server, current work includes migration of existing applications from Java Servlet architecture to JSR-168 portlets.
  • Co-authored a customized Authorization Entitlements solution to manage information security for individuals based on their role and group.
  • Developed a software "Bridge" enabling a web browser (MSIE6) to initialize service calls to execute legacy applications on the client desktop and allow the web application to act on the response.
  • Developed a program to display Point-of-Sale receipt signatures on the Internet by reverse-engineering a C program that could only print the image to a laser-printer.
  • Developed and later converted CGI (Perl and C) websites to J2EE to run on IBM's WebSphere Application Server.
